Please note that the Buller X-Country that was to have been raced tomrrow at Karamea, has been cancelled!
Mr A and I have tried to ring everyone, but the numbers I have for Mina and Taylor aren't correct. If anyone reading this knows how to contact either Mina or Taylor, could you please let them know. The good news is .... it will be school as normal for everyone tomorrow! Please note that the Buller X-Country scheduled for tomorrow at Karamea has now been postponed to Wednesday.
If you are reading this, can you please help spread the word. Thanks everyone What a privilege it was to take 16 'super keen' young writers to the Library this afternoon to meet and work with the author, James Norcliffe.
Time flew, and instead of the 40 minute workshop timetabled, an hour had gone by before we knew it. Questions, responses and ideas were flying around the room. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, he then gave everyone a copy of his book AND personally signed each and every one! Everyone was 'buzzing' with excitement and enthusiam on the walk back, including Mrs Rout, who now has lots of ideas for the next writing lesson!!! Here's a hint ... 'What's the REAL reason?? ... Hi Renee.
So pleased to hear everything is going well with your new school. Wow! Fancy getting elected to your school council when you had only just started there. They must have realised pretty quickly what a super young lady you are. I decided to set up a special post so you can chat and keep in touch with us. We miss you heaps!!! Love Mrs Rout Just a reminder that you have a meeting at 8.30am tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
