It was a special treat to see this amazing outfit when she modeled it in assembly.
A fantastic work of art, Izabelle and you looked gorgeous in it.
Congratulations to Izabelle who took out first place with her entry 'Paper Roses'.

What a great start to the term these 4 students have made!
Congratulations to Erin, Sam, Millie and Brynleigh. Keep up the great work Our focus for writing this term is 'Persuasive' writing which includes arguments, debates and explanations.
Mrs Rout's group had impromptu debates today. The children positioned themselves on an imaginary continuum line, depending on whether they agreed or disagreed with a given statement. In pairs, they then had to come up with one reason for their position, and deliver it to the class. Not sure how much effect the production had had, but suffice to say there were some very effective, if not forceful, arguments given!! Lots of laughs and some great discussion followed. Congratulations to the first group of students who took part in the Holiday Reading programme and remembered to bring back their forms on the first day of the new term.
A BIG welcome back!
It was so cool to see everyone meeting up with their classmates and expressing pleasure at being back at school. I have attached a copy of our class newsletter, just in case it didn't make it home! I hope everyone has a safe and a well earned relaxing holiday.
