So proud of the children who shared their amazing descriptive writing in assembly this morning. We have had so much positive feedback from other teachers. A top effort from you all.
Despite the rain, Mrs Sara and her band of helpers visited the nursery at lunchtime to purchase some plants. These will be planted around the path and seating we have constructed outside Rm 1/2. A Kowhai tree has already been planted and these new plants will just add the finishing touches.
While the yr 7's are away at technology, the yr 6 group have been studying art with Mrs Sara. Today they started painting their 'perspective' art work and some really great pieces are under way. Looking forward to seeing the finished pieces of art!
It was great to see all the year 7's so busy and on task at both sewing and woodwork.
Can't wait to see all the finished pencil cases and bird feeders. Today was Lizzy's last day until next term. Tomorrow she flies out from Christchurch, heading to Bangkok and then onto Manchester. Have a lovely holiday with your family and friends over in the UK, Lizzy.
