This afternoon, children in Room 1 and 2 were given a challenge. In groups of 3, they had to create a skipping rope using only a pair of scissors and 5 supermarket plastic bags. There were certain criteria they had to try and follow and points were awarded for...
* the skipping rope being the right size for the nominated team member
* the rope had to be 'usable'
* no frayed bits hanging off
* completed within the given time
Think the pictures say it all!

At the end, we had 3 teams that scored 10/10, so we had a jump off ...
And still all 3 of the ropes held together!!
In the end, the 2 judges conferred and decided that the overall winner was Logan's team (his rope was super neat and had no bits sticking out) followed closely behind by Ciara and Lenka's teams.
